Roundtable Report: Building Parliamentary Momentum for Tibet

May 15, 2015

The Canada Tibet Committee today released its report of the April 22, 2015 Parliamentary Roundtable entitled "Building Momentum for Tibet".  The roundtable took place on Parliament Hill in Ottawa and marked the annual day of action organized by Tibet groups in Canada in association with the Canadian Parliamentary Friends of Tibet.

The report contains summaries of the presentations and recommendations that resulted from discussion.  Presentations offered an overview of the Central Tibetan Administration’s (government-in-exile) Middle Way Approach, an update on Sino-Tibetan negotiations, a description of legislative initiatives in various countries, and an analysis of the broader Canada-China relationship.
