Tibetan Calgarians held a march and rally in downtown Calgary
Saturday to mark the end of the Beijing Olympics and to protest what
they call continued oppression in china.
The protesters say China has failed to live up to promises it made to
the world when it was granted the Olympic games.
Joining Tibetan Canadians were members of the Falon Gong and refugees
from Darfur.
The demonstration ended at the Chinese Consulate and is part of an
ongoing protest against Chinese government polices.
