Dalai Lama to attend religious conference in Gujarat

Mumbai, December 19,2008 (Indopia) - Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai Lama is likely to attend a religious conference convened by Morari Bapu, a Hindu preacher, in Gujarat next month.
 
"The six-day conference being held at Kailash Gurukul in Bhavnagar district, will seek ways and means to deal with the discord among major religions and Dalai Lama will attend it. We believe the meet will help world peace and unity," Morari Bapu told media.
 
Shu Hikosaka (Japan), Kanchi-Peeth Shankaracharya Shri Jayendra Saraswati and Mufti Mukarram Ahmed will be among the prominent religious preachers who will attend the conference that will begin on January 6.
