Dalai Lama hails India's religious tolerance

Bhavnagar , Jan 6 World needs to learn lesson in religious tolerance from India and try and adopt its culture that promotes peace, the Dalai Lama said today.
" Indian culture is the only one with the tolerance that the world needs to bring about peace and unity among all religions,"the Nobel laureate said at Mahuva taluka here.
The Tibetan spiritual leader was addressing an international conference' Dharm Samvad&aposwhich began at the Kailash Gurukul of religious guru Morari Bapu.
He said there needs to be a combined efforts by the leaders of all religions so that truth prevails in the universe.
Dalai prayed for the victims of the Mumbai terror attacks and wished for the well being of those who survived the November 26 ordeal.
Addressing the six-day conference, Morari Bapu said this event was the first step in the direction to initiating dialogue between religious leaders, and hoped this will deliver fruitful results.
