PRESS INVITATION: Bike rally protest in New Delhi

November 6, 2009

India Tibet Coordination Office
November 3, 2009

Youth Liberation Front of Tibet, East Turkistan,
Manchuria and Inner Mongolia (YLFTM) a national
level Indian Tibet support group is organizing a
bike rally protest which will flag off at 9.30am,
Wednesday, 4 November 2009 from Katewara, outer
Delhi, and conclude in front of the Chinese embassy, Chanakyapuri.

Over fifty bikers are expected to participate in
this protest rally in Delhi, condemning the
unabated campaign of repression unleashed on the
innocent Tibetans and Uighurs, reinforced by the
more severe current brutalities by the People's Republic of China government.

After the Chinese occupation of Tibet in 1959,
India and China shares a common border stretching
from Jammu and Kashmir to Arunachal Pradesh.
Because of heavy presence of military and its
development in Tibet, it culminates a direct
threat to India on security, economy and
environment. We protest against the continuing
and ever-increasing Chinese infiltrations and
incursions on Indian soil. We are also deeply
concerned about the prevailing situation in Tibet
under the atrocity of Chinese Communist regime.

YLFTM is organizing this protest rally with the
slogan "Free Tibet, Save India" to seek the
Government of India to positively deal with China
in a dignified manner and help resolve the Tibet
issues, which ultimately helps sustain our sovereignty and security.
