"As long as human rights are violated, there can be no foundation for peace. How can peace grow where speaking the truth is itself a crime?"

Poem: All in Good Time

How can we seek freedom
When our eyes are blinded?
How can we sleep peacefully
When our beds are burning?
How can we speak for justice
When our mouths are stitched?
How can we think of democracy
When our brains are washed?

And how can we revolt
When we are in prison?
How do we flee
When our wings are mangled?
How can we resist
When our defiance is gunned down?
How can we hope
When our dreams are shattered?

But all in good time
The bad times will be gone
If we don't give in
All in good time
The sad times will disappear
If we don't give up
All in good time
The mad times will vanish
If we don't yield
All in good time
The shattered dreams will cease
If we don't despair

And all in good time
The devil will perish
If we fight back
All in good time
Our faith will be restored
If we endure
All in good time
Our prayers will be answered
If we weather
All in good time
The good times will return
If we withstand
