6. Candle Light Vigil in front of the Norwegian Parliament by SFT Norway


SFT Norway

Oslo, Norway January 7 - Students for Free Tibet of Norway today carried out
a Candle Light Vigil in front of the Norwegian Parliament to Campaign for
release of Tenzin Delek Rinpoche.

Despite very cold weather and lots of snow Vigil was carried out from 8 am
to 6 pm.

>From today 7th January through the 7th April, Students for Free Tibet Norway
will hold Vigil at the same venue.

"Vigil was noticed by the members of Norwegian parliament. Mr Thommensen
Member of Parliament (Conservative party) came out and expressed his support
and sympathy. He also encouraged members of SFT Norway to continue their
campaign, said Norbu Tenzin vice chairman of SFT Norway."

Miss Dechen Pelmo Chairwomen of SFT Norway, inaugurated the Vigil by
outlining the demand being made by SFT Norway and appeal to Norwegian
parliament and government, to put more pressure on Chinese government for
release of Tenzin Delek Rinpoche.
